GageIn is a Silicon Valley startup for business news aggregation and relationship management. Our goal is to build the world's richest and most accurate business database and to offer the best quality business news, analytical intelligence, and relationship management for business users. We just launched our Beta product in May 2010. We are expanding our team and excited to meet with smart, energetic and self-motivated talents and genius in web development, Internet crawler or smart phone applications.

^ TOPJava/J2EE Engineer
Job Requirements
As a Java/J2EE server side developer, you will work with our Chief Architect and the technical team to implement the server side modules of our enterprise web application.
- Minimum 3 years' experience on Java/J2EE, Servlet, JSP, tag library, and proven industry experience in large scale enterprise application design and development
- Minimum 2 year's experience with application servers, 1 year's experience with Tomcat
- Minimum 2 years' experience on SQL and 1 year's experience with MySQL
- Minimum 2 year's experience on XML/XSL and XML data modeling
- Familiarity with design patterns. Experienced in MVC architecture
- Experience with HTML/XML parser and HTML tree representation is a plus
- Experience and knowledge in Regex expression is a plus
- Experience on Struts, Hibernate and Eclipse a plus, but not required
- Experience on RESTful services/web services programming a plus, but not required
- Experience with Eclipse modeling framework and Eclipse plugin development a plus

Requirement
As a Web/UI Developer, you will work with our Chief Architect, User Experience Designer, and marketing and peers in the technical team to define and implement the web front of our enterprise web application. You need to work with our server side engineers to build a dynamic, robust, yet efficient web 2.0/Ajax based web front.
- 3+ years in the design and implementation of enterprise web 2.0 websites.
- Hands-on skills in CSS, Javascript, Ajax, DOM, XML, and JSON.
- Experience in Dojo and/or other Ajax libraries a major plus.
- Experience in JSP, tag library a plus.
- Java/J2EE experiences a plus.
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
Responsibilities
- Work with marketing and engineering to design and develop our company website, both
creatively and pragmatically
- Design and create UI for business web applications based on existing functional specs,
page flows, page layouts, etc. In the mean time, be proactive in improving user experience based on experience and user feedback
- Result-focus: Understand the trade-off between design elegance vs. design that works in
real life. Comfortable using data to drive and prove the design's effectiveness, before and
after the projects. Also open to acknowledge when data disproves the effectiveness of your design
